It's only been one week since the last update, but a ton of new work has occurred at the site for JERSEY DEVIL COASTER at Six Flags Great Adventure!
Over at the north end of the site, most footings and pier caps have been poured and bolted, and some have even begun preparation for supports with tin foil being laid over the bolts. Over at the south end, foiling has also been a common occurrence as crews pour the remaining pier caps for the zero-g roll and crows-nest turnaround, one of which will stand at a whopping 9 FEET TALL! As the two ends of the ride near connection in the coming few days, pier caps will be completed and vertical construction will officially begin next month!Regarding shipments, we now have around 80 pieces of steel for the new coaster, with tons more expected to arrive in the coming weeks. We have an estimated 225 total support pieces for the ride (excluding mechanical elements and track), but that number is tentative and guaranteed to change as new information is revealed. We will see you next Monday for a (hopefully) very exciting and major update on the brand-new JERSEY DEVIL COASTER!The map posted below was updated as of January 17, 2020.
